The Word of the Day is "QUIRKY"

I am the most complicated, confusing person that I know. Which is saying a lot because I know some very strange people... But when it comes down to it, I'm really honestly quite insane! And I'll continue to be insane and quirky for the rest of my life! And that's that. Living with my sister has really brought out the crazy in me, and I am more aware of my quirks now than I ever have been before! So here's what I've come up with:

I hate making decisions. The best restaurant in the world is In N Out simply because they only have 4 choices on the menu. I don't like diet drinks, not because they don't taste good, simply because they have the word "diet" in the name.

Same goes for anything fat-free, sugar-free, and low-fat. I don't know the difference between organic and non-organic, and I couldn't care less. My instinct is to think that organic is gross. I think of dirt. When it comes down to it I really do like organic foods. Annie's bunny grahams are the greatest snacks in the world... but I'll still say I don't like organic if you were ask me. It doesn't matter how a word is spelled or supposed to be pronounced, I've been talking for quite some time now and I like the pronunciations I've come up with! Ketchup will always be "Catch-up" and Pillow will always be "pellow". Don't point it out for me, I know how I said it. I said it that way on purpose!
For example, if I were to say "This is a stack of 'pellow's'", you can probably assume that I am referring to the obvious stack of pillows in front of you. No need to say "Stack of WHAT?"

I really wish that I was from somewhere cool. To make up for that, I pretend that I'm Canadian and sometimes say things like "runners" and "skookum" (big foot) and spell honor "honour". I made a subconscious decision awhile back that I don't like capital E's, but love capital M's, N's and R's. So my name, when written on paper, is eMily maRie hileMaN. Like any other annoying girl, I will easily tell you that I hate girls. What I mean whenever I make that statement is that I strongly dislike girls that gossip 24/7, twirl their own (or worse, each other's) hair, scream often, giggle and squeal in public, wear shorts with words across the butt, chew gum with their mouth open, have those mini plastic cartoon back backs, carry a backpack AND a purse, and wear more makeup than the members of KISS.

Not THAT kind of kiss. THIS kind of kiss:

I don't mean that I hate girls, I mean that I hate THOSE girls. I am extremely dramatic. But I'll tell you that I hate drama, if asked. I love love love the colours (see what I did there? Haha) yellow and dark purple, but brown remains my "favorite colour" mainly because I decided so years ago. Who's favorite colour is brown? I'm positive it feels left out! If I'm breathing, something is wrong with me. A cut, bruise, swollen lymph node, or twitch. When I was little I wore ACE bandages frequently because I thought it was cool. I used to dream of having a cast and using crutches. I think they're awesome, still. Bruises and battle wounds are the best! I truly do love boating and wakeboarding and tubing. I don't have a boat, and suck at boarding, but I love it. I'm not coordinated in anyway and suck at all sports. Even frisbee.

I love the ocean, and I love the mountains. If I REALLY had to, and was FORCED to make a choice of where to live, I wouldn't be able to. Hopefully, my husband will make that decision for me! Oh, and on that topic. Yes, my wedding is nearly fully planned. That's ok, right? Now there's less to stress about when the big day eventually comes. For about the past 2 years I've really really wanted a baby. I think you're supposed to plan the wedding BEFORE picking out baby names...but I somehow got that backwards. Obviously I don't want to get pregnant at 18 and have a child. But I look forward to having a little nugget to call my own someday in the hopefully near future.

Cute, no?

Beautifully Modest dresses suck. Fago brands suck. "Fago" is a cool word that I made up from the basic combination of "fake" and "eggo waffles". All knock of brands are Fago. And they suck. What sucks even more than that is that they're cheaper. I'm scared poopless of my future. Really. I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm even scared of going to the post office. But what I do know is that I learn fastest in the deep end. Diving right in is what makes me catch on quick. I wish that nobody wore make up and that people didn't have to live to meet other people's standards. I wish people weren't so judgmental. I saw this picture of 3 models today and the one in the middle is a "plus sized" model in the caption. She's beautiful and, to me, looksway small.

The world sucks.

If we could all be naked, that'd be awesome. Who doesn't enjoy being naked? We'd all save money on clothing expenses and there would be no competition in who owns what brands. If a brand is too difficult to pronounce, it's probably too expensive. Haha! That's my rule. I have a strong opinion that Pringles cost WAY too much. So do Oreos. As a matter of fact, most delicious snack foods do. It's a shame. Luckily, Yoohoo's are the greatest boxed drink there is and they aren't too expensive.

I take EVERYTHING too seriously and too personal, but I'm also sarcastic more than half the time. When I have a house of my own, I want this on my toilet...

That should solve a lot of problems.

WELL I s'pose that's all for now! There's much much more, but I guess that's enough ranting for one day!
Life is good!

I second that thought! you're a very entertaining writer. I was laughing through this whole thing as well and agreeing with a lot of things you said so I had to read this to Susan too. Anyway..Keep it up because I will have many days of loneliness and nothingness coming up (while I'm on maternity leave) so I can alternate between staring at Jacob while he sleeps and reading your blog. There! my life has a solution now... ;)
