NOT dead

Hey hey, everyone! I'm not dead, don't worry. And my blog isn't dead either,which is more important to some of you. *coughemilyhermanncough*
I just walked in the door from quiting my job. You know you work in housekeeping when you go it to tell your boss you quit, and instead of sitting in an office to talk you have to follow him around whilst he waters plants. I only worked there one week before I decided I needed to quit! I'm a housekeeper at a small golf club/hotel by my house. The cleaning wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed some parts of it, but the job altogether wasn't ideal. For example, the 5:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. shifts. And the fact that I couldn't communicate with any of my coworkers. And the pay wasn't enough, either. My mom just got a job with the church at distribution and she is making more than me...... seriously? Unfortunately my manager is an acquaintance of my mother, so I felt bad leaving him in the lurch. I've never quit a job simply because I hated it, I've always moved or had too much going on. But I worked up the courage to go and quit and I'm pretty happy about it! Hopefully one of my old bosses will pick me up for the next 2 months! And if you read this, and you live near me, and you have kids, don't call hermann to babysit. Call me! Thanks!

Speaking of old jobs, here's me at my last day of Gelato Premio in Arizona.

I really liked that job! It was fun, and I had a great relationship with my employers and coworkers. I got to talk to people and smile, 2 things I never did at the hotel! Hahaha!

ALRIGHT we need to back up.
Arizona came to a close. I spent some last moments cuddling with Jettybug.


Then, in return, he peed on my newly cleaned down comforter.

Then emily flew out to Arizona on May 15th! On the first night we went night swimming.



We went to the Grand Canyon!!! I've wanted to go there my whole life!

And that was that! Now I'm enjoying my summer in NOCO. And will be heading down to BYUH on July 20th. I'll do another blog about graduation and all the shinanigans that have been going on since I got back. Til then, ta ta for now!
