black & white.

If there's a diagnosis for having a constant desire to change your blog header
I have it.
I don't like halloween decorations -- they freak me out.
So I skipped straight to Thanksgiving!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
Ahhhh It's the best time of the year!!!

I took this photo on a backpacking trip in the Colorado Rockies in 2010.
It is such a beautiful shot.  An incredible view.  It's shots like this that make me sad about living so far from Colorado.  But then I see photos like this
and I'm happy to be in Hawaii.  Gosh I don't miss digging that frozen chunk of metal out of the snow.

Life seems to get more hectic and busy with every passing day.  The list of "To Do" gets overwhelmingly large and the list of "Should Do" gets ignored.
(check them off as you go down!!)
 Family and friends
Reading Scriptures
    Watching the sunset
   Going on long walks
        Taking time for yourself
                                        Serving others
       Counting your blessings
But life is so much better than a jam-packed schedule.
It deserves to be taken one step at a time.
A very wise friend once told me "There's a difference between 'finding time' and 'making time'."
He couldn't be more right!
Hey, guess what?  'Member that photo from before?  Look how much more incredible it is in colour!  How easy is it to only see life in black & white?
Don't miss out on life!
Make the time to do the little things.
Call your sister/brother.  Help a friend.  Take in a beautiful view.  Just sit and think.
Enjoy every minute!

LIFE IS GOOD!
