One for the money

"Never memorize something that you can look up."
- Albert Einstein

My dad once told me something that his dad once told him (or something like that).  He said that school isn't for memorizing facts, it's for learning where to go in order to get the facts.  Learning how to learn, learning how to succeed, learning how to achieve.  I've always believed that learning is a lifetime project.  And, bonus, knowledge is free!  Not many things in life come free of charge, but if you are always searching, there are lessons to be learned all around. Take advantage of the lessons people have to share!  If you meet someone from Nigeria, ask about African culture or government or food.  If you see a free real estate magazine, pick it up and memorize the locations and their average prices, etc.  Who cares how minor or random it may seem at the time, knowledge is priceless.  A friend of mine recently taught me to learn with the intent to teach other people.  Now whenever I read anything I focus more on the contents so that I can share it with others, and if I never share it with anyone, then at least I've learned it for myself!  Ok.  That's my rant for the day.

LIFE IS GOOD!

Oh yeah, Payce is in Hawaii!  We longboarded around Laie, had dinner at Haleiwa eats, I tried my first floral tea (and it was awesome) and then finished it off with Angel's shaved ice and now a movie!  I have a spare bed for anyone that wants to come visit!  Any takers?
